The Larimer County Justice Center hears cases related to the dissolution of marriage under the Colorado Revised Statutes Section 14-10-106 and custody cases under the Colorado Revised Statutes Section 14-10-124.
Lines tend to bottleneck between 7:45 AM and 9:00 AM, and right after the lunch hour. You must follow a specific process to enter the building safely:
- Find the public entrance at the Southwest corner
- Remove all metal objects from your pockets
- Place your personal bags on the X-ray conveyor belt and walk through the metal detector
Try to arrive 30 minutes early to clear security. Security personnel may confiscate metal drink containers such as Hydro Flasks or YETIs; bring plastic water bottles instead.

Finding a spot near the Fort Collins divorce court takes planning ahead. There is no free public parking at the courthouse.
